Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

I’ve always had a great experience at this Pep Boys, but Theresa deserves a special shoutout! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and great at explaining what’s going on without making the already-confusing car repair process feel overwhelming. I’m not exactly a “car person,” so having someone I could trust to explain what actually needed to be done—and make the whole thing feel a lot less scary—made a huge difference. Theresa is professional, friendly, and genuinely seems to care about the people she’s helping. This was my last visit since I’m moving away, and I’m honestly going to miss this location. The whole shop has great energy, and Theresa is a huge part of why I’ve always felt comfortable bringing my car here. Give her a raise. 😂

I dropped my car off Friday morning at 8:00 AM for a Virginia state inspection and an oil change. I understood inspections at this location are walk-in only, so I expected some wait. However, after calling on Saturday, I was told they hadn’t even started working on my car. By Sunday, the job was still incomplete, and I left without the services being done. Three days with no progress is unacceptable.

Theresa was amazing, kind and Guided us the whole way through. She made us feel very confident that the job will get done, and it was done in a Good timely fashion. I recommend that everyone come to this pet boy for all chains, Will, alignments, or anything that your car may need Services help with.

Allen provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. He was professional, welcoming, and truly took care of every customer who walked through the door. While waiting for my car, I had the opportunity to observe him for about an hour, and I was genuinely impressed. During that time, he assisted approximately 10–20 customers, and every single person was treated with the same level of respect, kindness, and professionalism. No matter how busy things got, Allen remained patient, attentive, and focused on making sure each customer felt valued. It’s rare to see someone consistently deliver that level of customer care. Allen is a great representation of Pep Boys, and his dedication to serving customers does not go unnoticed. Thank you for the excellent experience! Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would absolutely never go to this place again! Let me set the scene. I went in for wobbling during braking at highway speed. It was after work and unfortunately I was in uniform with my 1yr old. So I look like the unknowing single military mom. When I called ahead they told me they did not do military discounts on top of their current special. Sucks but that’s ok. I arrive smooth getting in, me and my daughter wait about an hour. The call me back up and tell me I need all around rotars and pads 1200! I was like wow how I changed the rotars and pads the last time my pads were due? I simply can’t afford them my stove just went out from a gas leak replaced it, other maintenance on the car for lower control arms and such… my funds are low. I ask can I just change the pads for now and then come back when I can afford the rotars? No they are too far gone, they suggest I take a loan from MWR. To which I say I can’t. They say they’ll put the car back together, I go around the corner and talk to my sister for 5 mins and she suggest looking myself. I ask my service advisor if I can see them while it’s apart and she says he’s already pulling it around ( how it’s only been 5 mins). I told he
